Decap brine shrimp 3 Months ago

I bought a 500g pack of decap brine shrimp. I was thinking of storing them in the old 35mm plastic containers. Is it safe or do they go bad after some time?

They will be fine in absolutely airtight containers, but half a kilo will equate to rather a lot of film canisters...
I used the sealable food containers, making certain they are fully airtight first, kept in the fridge, but one word of warning - watch the 'use-by' date, much dried and freeze-dried fish food quickly loses its nutritional value so the date is pretty crucial in order that you aren't giving 'worthless' food to your fish; and keeping it in the fridge seems to extend its worthwhile life for a while - although I have no scientific evedence of for how long. It just seems the 'right thing to do'.

Thanks John. I bought them online, so I am not sure about the expiry date. I bought them from Tim Addis.
