They had snowballs in Whackers at the weekend on special offer for 30 quid each.

I had thought about that but then I read that they can be a bit territorial. Is this true? Also, what size tank would I require to keep four of them? I know they max out at about five or six inches but Im worried about fighting (pricey fish). Cheers,

You could put them in a 60L tank with lots of caves made out of pipes, coconut shells, ceramic flower pots etc and bogwood, as long as they have lots of places to hide they'll be fine

March 2010 Photo Competition

We are very happy to announce the return of this popular competition for 2010.

 

There are very few rules but please adhere to the ones which are here.

 

As we are well into the second half of February already we shall run this as the March Competition, but you can start to submit your pictures from today.

 

Submit one picture to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it before midnight on March 31 and the winner will receive a Voucher (value €50) from Aquatic Village

We look forward to receiving your entries.

Rules:
- Competition open to Forum-registered Club and non-Club members,
- One submission per entrant,
- The photo must have been taken by the entrant, can have been taken anywhere and must not have been previously published on this or any other forum,
- Photos should be submitted in jpeg format and a maximum of 1.5MB,
- Digital editing is limited to cropping, resizing, contrast adjustment and sharpening (No photo-shop altering). Frames are allowed. Any queries please don't hesitate to ask.
