I.M.A.S. February Meeting 1 Month ago  
Hi All,

Our next Club meeting is on Wednesday 10th February in Tracey’s Thatch Pub/Restaurant on the old Dublin – Portlaoise road (N7). It's about 5 minutes from Portlaoise, the meeting is at 8.00pm.

Looking forward to seeing everybody and hopefully a few new faces, Derek will be giving a talk this month, so it should be a very interesting meeting.

A Big thanks to Derek for travelling down from Dublin and giving us such an informative and interesting presentation. Thorougly enjoyable.

Also, I really appreciate you answering my barage of questions. If I knew one third of what is inside your brain Derek I'd be doing alright.

thanks bella, i enjoyed the meeting and meeting such keen fishkeepers, some for the first time. hope the club continues to prosper and grow.

last night when leaving laois at midnight the temp. was -3 and an hour later in dublin it was +2.

Thanks for a very entertaining night and a view into some of the large variety of fish you keep and breed, some of the best looking fry I’ve seen and the adults they turn into, they were amazing, thanks.

March 2010 Photo Competition

We are very happy to announce the return of this popular competition for 2010.

 

There are very few rules but please adhere to the ones which are here.

 

As we are well into the second half of February already we shall run this as the March Competition, but you can start to submit your pictures from today.

 

Submit one picture to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it before midnight on March 31 and the winner will receive a Voucher (value €50) from Aquatic Village

We look forward to receiving your entries.

Rules:
- Competition open to Forum-registered Club and non-Club members,
- One submission per entrant,
- The photo must have been taken by the entrant, can have been taken anywhere and must not have been previously published on this or any other forum,
- Photos should be submitted in jpeg format and a maximum of 1.5MB,
- Digital editing is limited to cropping, resizing, contrast adjustment and sharpening (No photo-shop altering). Frames are allowed. Any queries please don't hesitate to ask.
