brine shrimp eggs 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
finding it hard to find a shop with a regular supply of brine shrimp eggs
anyone know of any good sites to buy from or any stores with reasonable prices

the company i get my fairy shrimp has some at the moment and usally gets a mention on an emails i get! i have got fairy shrmip with no problems except by my own fault!

I get mine from http://www.ta-aquaculture.co.uk/, I use the Siberian type, you can get any amount from 100g up.

i have started using fresh bbs by ocean nutrition and imo they are very good without all the hassle.

The price is prohibitive as far as I am concerned. Also they do not last very long once opened. But most importantly, the live BBS encourage fry to capture their food the jarred stuff just sinks to the bottom

Very handy to have in reserve, but I would not be using it in over 40 tanks everyday like I do with live BBS.

I have been using Ocean Nutrition for quite some time. The hatching rate is quite good. What I do is once I open the package I store the eggs in small 35mm plastic containers (wash them well) and store them in fridge. They last for a year or more in this way. Another thing, temperature in Malta varies from 10 degrees to 35 in Summer. I had one plastic container which I forgot completly about it. The eggs after suffering low temperatures and hot temperatures still hatched after a 1 year not stored in a constant temperature.

I get mine from www.jehmco.com they are in the USA 90% hatch rate they come in 1lb tins one tin lasts me about 8 months if you club together you could buy in bulk they are really good quality.Regards Killikid

That's more expensive than the link I posted above and you don't have postage from the states either.
