Hi just a quick question on my new malawi tank.
I only have it filled with water for about 36 hours and its a 450L.
My question is around water chemistry.
I have used a mix of ordinary aquarium sand(25kg) and Aragonite sand(15kg).
I have tested my water and found readings of PH 7.5, GH 120, KH 40.
Does the aragonite take a period of time to buffer that volume of water in a new tank?
Have i used an insufficent amount of aragonite in my mix to buffer the water?
