Dear all,

13 fish-keeping enthusiasts gathered last night at the Quality Hotel in Oranmore, Galway.

In brief, the meeting consisted of :
- various introductions and presentations,
- an exposé of our sponsors' activities and plans : AquaPaws Aquatics of Barna (Gavin and Peter) and PetPlanet of Loughrea (Gabriel),
- discussions around the proposed Charter, Constitution and Committee,
- suggestions with regards club activities,
- a good bit of fishy mingling over a few drinks.

The next meeting should be held on the 21st of March at 08:30pm at the Quality Hotel in Oranmore. I will be posting when closer to the date.

Thank you all for the kind words. I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed the 1st meeting. The group of attendees are all very nice and I am certain that it will indeed go from strength to strength.

Somebody who shall remain nameless but i'm sure you can guess refered to clownfish by this increasing common name after forgetting the real common name
