13 fish-keeping enthusiasts gathered on the 28th of March 2008 at the Quality Hotel in Oranmore, Galway.

In brief, the meeting consisted of the following:
- various introductions and presentations of new members,
- The Constitution was agreed to after discussing it and modifying a few small details,
- The Committee :
~ Chairman : Valerie Rousseau (forum username = Valerie),
~ Secretary : Karlo Kennedy (forum username = Karlo),
~ Treasury + PR : Vacant,
- Members were issued with their membership cards,
- Discussions around the Irish Federation of Aquarists Society (IFAS) and the members thought best to postpone the affiliation to the Federation by a few months,
- Fishy mingling over a few drinks

The next meeting should be held on the 18th of April 2008 at 20:30pm at the Quality Hotel in Oranmore. Michael is organising a quiz for it !!
