new tank 6 Months ago  
i set up a cichlid tank in me spare room 10 days ago to move my fish into while iam doing up me room ....it will be another 10 days or so b4 i have to move em into the tank how long should i wait b4 i move em into it

everything seems to be ok at the moment

any suggestions ???????????

Once you transfer the filter from your existing tank onto the new tank then there is no need to cycle.

If I were you I would transfer some of the water from the existing tank into the new tank, bring it up to temperature then transfer fish & filter across.

yeah i have transfered some water already and have a filter in it that was running in a tank to i was tinking about putting i the filter {fuval 405 external} into it to your suggestion just confirmed it cheers
