Agressive Ancistrus Lemon 4 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi All,

I have two of the above. One is very peaceful but the other one has become very agressive especially at feeding time when I drop a broken bottom feeding wafter in. He never leaves the Cory's alone when they are feeding and keeps jumping at them as if to jump on top of them. The other plec is very peaceful and just gets on with his business.

Has anyone any suggestions? Is this species known to be aggressive?

I have 4 Cory's in the tank.

Thank you all

Break the wafer into pieces or alternatively feed them at nighttime. The corys will find them when they need them.

They are not generally agressive and the corys should be fine, as fishowner suggested, breaking up the tablets increases the number of targets for teh fish to focus on.

Thanks Guys

I normally break them up but never thought of feeding them when the lights go out. Thanks
