Actually, I was reading that they cannot digest food properly when the temp in under 10, but not too sure if that is true or not.

Only begin to start feeding them once the temp is steady above 10 degrees C , if below only feed wheatgerm and if it drops below 4 degrees cease all feeding.

A mild spring should see you being able to begin feeding again in the next few weeks.

You start feeding when the temp is over 5c. Anyday is not you don`t feed.
