These ten week old babies are all from the same spawn! There are at least six combinations of Golds, Silver, with barring and without, club dorsals and slim dorsals. See them all here: I like them all, but what actually makes a good angel fish from a show standard point of view?? Daragh

Cool ! That is interesting ... I had heard/read somewhere (I don't remember) that when 2 different variety angels spawned, the proginy was either like the mother or the father ; but not a mixture of both ... This 'theory' goes out the window in this case... Anyone knows ? Thanks. Valerie

Possibly, or more likely they are like the mother, the father, the grandfather and grandmother of both sides ??? However that would not explain how new varieties are created. Genetics was never my strong point (not speaking personally )

Cool photos. I've always preferred the fuller bodied Angels (Bottom left picture). Amazing to think those 4 came from the same spawn.
