Forum Announcements 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
would it be an idea to have a separate section for forum announcements separate from news items there a daily new discoveries that can be posted in news which at the moment can move forum items down the last. personally I think that forum news should have a preference!

with an "ANNOUNCEMENT" section all quiz's and Competitions would always have appropriate position for all to see

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, it is a good idea ; I was thinking about something similar but hadn't done it.
I have created a new section on the forum called "Forum News" which includes the Photo Competition, Competitions, and Forum news/suggestions.
We'll see how this goes !
