@valerie .. does that include the poor escargot aswell??? i did try frogs legs but not the escargot and the local wines... well....... when i go back im taking a lorry with me! i was reading this www.independent.ie/business/european/fre...rgement-1429696.html and was a little taken back as i thoiught they were only french. seems not

ill ask if i dont find any valerie

you can buy the shells in super valu, if not a lady in france sells them on ebay just type in shells in the search engine and bingo

demand = supply, if not do what i've done in a few lfs, there are times apple snails etc die in lfs tanks, i just ask for those and generally get them free gratis and for nothing might be worth a try

lol Seamus the only snails i see in my LFS are the snall ones that arrive with the plants!
i might pop out into the garden now its wet and try rounding up a few there!
