126 L. roots, stones and plants

The photos of the shrimp and apisto are great, really like the backgrounds especially the moss with the shrimps.

Never seen those tetras that blue in color before, knew they ranged from gold to silver.

I personally find tetras challenging to photograph but looking at your other photos I'm sure you'll get some great shots of your new group.

Yeah take a better photo cause that on e is so awful with the fish in perfect focus

The reason of blue colour is that I've changed bulbs for day light only and now light is much cooler.
Agree, when you want to take a tetras photo you have to wait quite long time before they calm down. They always want ot eat:)

I think the way the tank flows you don't even notice the intake too much but maybe just turn off the filtration and remove the intake for photos.

I like to watch photos where is no any pipes too, but i'm to laysy. Besides I have to do restart of big tank.

Yestesrday I helped my friend to set up small (20L) tank. The most important thing is that the aquarium has to be maintenance-free. That's why there are only microsoriums and cryptocorines:)

great looking tank above , really nice .. Is it a moor wood piece in it and I see some nice dwarf rainbows but what other fish are in it ?

Thank you. Yes, it's a moor wood there and other fish are Hemigrammus Rodwayi. I will set up a new 200L tank next year and I'm going to buy about 30 of them. They look great in a tank. But there is other fish I think about - Nannostomus marginatus. Maybe they will swim together?... I will see.

the pencilfish are very nice , they do bunch together well , but tend to stay very static and high up in the tank , almost like they are suspended ..

I've had them before and i really liked them. They were static, but it was not so bad. There was a lot of plants on the top of the water and they were swimming among them with pleasure i can say:)
What fish would you recommended?

beckford's pencilfish are wonderful fish in my opinion. not massive shoalers, but tend to stay in the same area. they seem to be very curious, always nosing over to investigate something. and the males are always having a (harmless) go at each other

I do really like espei rasbora , school together really well or these guys

Yes, espei is very calm, but i had them already and i don't want them in this tank, but thanks.

as long as the subdominant males have somewhere to get out of the line of fire, they're usually okay. a planted setup would suit them. I have them in my planted 180L and they seem to do really well. no one gets too hard of a time. I think increased number helps as well, in the same way as it helps tiger barbs... though beckford's are nowhere near as "arseholey" as them
