Hi,
John Howell who has managed the forum for years is getting on and wishes to retire from the role of managing it.
Over the years, he has managed the forum through good days and bad days and he has always been fair.
He has managed to bring his passion for fish keeping to the forum and keep it going for so long.
I wish to thank John for his hard work in keeping the forum going.
With John wishing to "retire" from the role of managing the forum and the forum receiving very little traffic, I think we must agree that forum has come to a natural conclusion and it's time to put it to rest.
I am proposing that the forum be made read-only from March 2022 onwards and that no new users or content be created. The website is still registered for several more years, so the content will still be accessible but no new topics or replies will be allowed.
If there is interest from the ITFS or other fish keeping clubs, we may redirect traffic to them or to a Facebook group but will not actively manage it.
I'd like to thank everyone over the years who helped with forum, posted a reply, started a new topic, ask a question and helped a newbie in fish keeping. And thank you to the sponsors who helped us along the away. Hopefully it made the hobby stronger.
I'd especially like to thank John Howell and Valerie Rousseau for all of their contributions, without them the forum would have never been has successful.

Hope ur all doin fine....if so thats good to hear.Just to let you know we have some great marine fish and great deals in store in Brittas at the moment.And not only are our fish reasonably priced like they always are there is the 3 for 2 offer thats on all our fish all the time...:)and whats more if you dont want three of the same fish we will do buy 3 get the cheapest free....oh my god i sound like that poxy prices on the floor spar add......
Our delivery from singapore was delayed till this friday....bloody typical!But we will have to get over that wont we.Can u do me a favour any one that would like to be kept up to date by text can they pm their mobile number to me and ill add it to the list....because people keep missing out on great deals and stuff so when they finally get up to us some of the best stuff is already gone....which is annoying for the person in question.
Also i would like to see some wish lists float about.....lets see can we fill some gaps here and there!
Also also if any one is having any health issues with fish or water quality problems feel free to pm me.We built the business on this side of the track.....we offer a free service in this area and have done for 15yrs so dont hmmm and haw ring us or pm.....nothing gained etc....im sure i can help...
We have trops and coldwater in on wed i think as well as friday so should be a busy week....stocks are low in tala Av2 so gotta boost them back up......

i'm gone off hunting new fish for a bit, (the last store bought fish was a whiptail i purchased off yourselves well over a year ago, actually looking in my tank and thinking of it, every store bought fish i have was bought in your store, i never had any luck in the long run with other stores) and now that i'm a full time father i have no use for a phone so i chucked it but this is a fantastic idea
